I just recently discovered that my dad was headhunted.
To those who don't know what it means...rest assured that it doesn't mean my dad was killed or something.
Buuut it does mean that my dad was offered a better paying job.
Now, of course at first blush you would say, "Take it!!!" right? Trouble is...
If he takes it, he'll be relocated to KL.
That's KUALA LUMPUR in case there are any dumbasses around.
So if he decides to take it, he won't be able to bring me to Singapore every morning any more... Thus if he DOES decide t0 take the job..
I won't be able to attend Bukit Panjang Govt. High anymore.
Yup.
I'll have to attend an international school in KL, or Tunku Jafar, where Kri's sister studies at for my O levels...
However! My mom also was thinking of letting me stay in Singapore.
Still, what do you guys think?
I really wouldn't want to leave all of my friends...

In other news...It came out in the news about a doctor, being arrested recently(about a week ago?) in the Singapore Customs; He was smuggling a type of drug from M'sia.
Apparently, this type of drug(the name I'm not too sure...Sabotech? Sabotex? Subutex! Thanks 'Mirul!) is sort of a cure for heroin addicts to kick the habit. But some doctors found out that if taken a certain way, it proves to be an excellent replacement for heroin instead.
So, it was outlawed in Singapore..
But this doctor decided to smuggle in 50 thousand(or 15?) pills with a partner.
The scary thing?
He owns 3 clinics, and one of the clinic was situated in my neighbourhood. And every sunday morning, when me and my family went for roti prata, we would walk past his clinic doors.

Plus...my mom thinks that he abuses his wife too...
How I heard this? Well, rumors were flying across the dinner table ... Heard this from my uncle in fact.
