Today is Sunday. And I shall blog about yesterday.
Ok, sarcastic quotation marks included, interesting introduction now over, let me tell you something.
Yesterday's Choral Workshop was like being slapped by a giant wet flopping fish.
For those who don't know what that is, it's a workshop where different schools participating in the SYF can perform in front of each other.
This is to help gauge our competition and how far we are ahead.
So far, we are NEGATIVE.
The other schools are SUPER DOUBLE AWESOME and we stank like a decayed donkey(haha alliteration) in the middle of the afternoon on the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert.
Of course, there were other factors we had to consider, like how the piano was out of tune, and that there were only THREE basses.
STILL.
We gotta buck up man.. and we only have a month to do it to boot. Mostly, the problem lies in the attitude, we believe.
(And we weren't even performing with the creme de la creme!!! They were in the afternoon and WE WERE IN THE MORNING. I think Mr Yong scheduled it such that we didn't fall into deeper depression. o.o;; )
After that, we let stressed out on the bus by singing High School Musical songs in falsetto to annoy Mel and Amanda. LAWL. >D
Oh right, in the afternoon we went for movies! Me, Jiaxuan, Amirul, Sarah, Mel and Zhengyang. Haha, it was definitely great, although the movie sucked.
Best part of the day? I HAD UNBELIEVABLE LUCK. In the library, we played BlackJack(me, Jiaxuan and Zy) and I TRASHED THEM! MWAHAHAHA. First hand and I got 5 cards. Amazing. XD And zy had the worst luck, and lost 70 cents. XDXD
Alright, we have also cristened Jiaxuan as Suzy/Daisy/whatever >.> and Zy is now known as Jackson. XDDDDDDDD Hahahahaha!
