Heehee.
I'm kinda sad and happy that RMUN's over. *mopes*
Anyways, yesterday was the last day of RMUN and we had debate for about 2 hours in the morning. The crisis hadn't been resolved yet so we took... 1 hr 45 minutes to at least fail a resolution. Lol.
And it was all the USA's fault! He screwed up his statement on Tuesday so when the official statement came on Friday morning, everyone was panicking and stuff. Another resolution was amended and then the Arab United couldn't sign it cos if we did, delegate of Iran would be assasinated.
So seeing as we make up about 1/3 of the assembly...
The European Union lost by one vote. ;D
So with 15 minutes left, our coalition was panicking coz our resolution had only been debated half-way. So Ying Ching(Germany) motioned straightaway to continue debate and stuff.
We passed the reso with no objections. :DD
Then we passed another reso with amazing quickness on Human Rights. Which is normally impossible. BUT it WAS going to be lunchtime and we were kinda late for the Summit.
So we dragged it out by taking group pictures . ;DD
(P.S., during the first hour of debate, UK mistakenly referred to himself as a female delegate. Must have been because of all the girls before him. So yes, the whole GA was thrown into laughter and he was mighty embarrassed.
We call him Your or Her Majesty now. ;DD
Colin((Japan)) also further enhanced his charm by shouting "ISSAC CHIOBU!" At which of course everyone laughed harder. The Sec-Gen wasn't spared either. XD)
Then it was time for the Fashion Parade. Which was a bit of a disappointment.
So on to prize giving! I won Honourable Mention for Best Presentation! =DDDD Sarah got Best Article Written from Press Corps! Clapping is in order! ]
Later was DnD~ It was really fun although the theme kinda sucked: 007, James Bond. Lawl.
Everyone was loosening up and stuff and let me just say.
There was a whole lot of dirty dancing going on and it was kinda funny cause y'know, it wasn't done by boys with gals, it was more of a... boy/boy thing.
IDK, the girls were just surrounding them and laughing and shrieking and dancing. Heehee. A lot of BL-closet girls came out tonight. ;D
Also, everyone was scrunched near the stage/on the the stage and lol! Fun!
The poor delegate of UK appeared to be very molestable to other delegates. XDD Particularly the delegate of Iran! XDDD He proposed to UK for pictures(Got rejected tho, a backhand usually means that) and again and again he kept being stalked on the dance floor! XD
I am going to get the pictures!! XDDD
However the bad effects of such dances is that you see things you REALLY don't need to see. x_x Colin and I were extremely horrified by what we saw, uugh.
Wooo! Also, we forced S.Korea and N.Korea together and HEEHEE XDDD S.Korea also liased with UK, and made him dance! Wooohoo! Big accomplishment coz Issac is really one of those stiff, shy people(mature in other sense). XDDD
Aaaawww I really am gonna miss RMUN. )):
After RMUN, went home and even had a little scary adventure =____= Yugh. Took the wrong bus and instead of home, ended in Jurong West. Yup. And, it was so late, there were no more MRT and buses so my Dad had to fetch me from Woodlands.
Horrifying.
Last but not least, I wish the very "romantic" Kelvin Tan good luck in his quest to find "the One" for him.Yougonnaneeditbuddy! HAHA JK. >.>
